Thank You for Your Support to the Caring Company Scheme!

The nomination of the Caring Company Scheme 2009/10 was closed on 11 December 2009.  This year, we received over 3,000 nomination forms.  The result will be notified by post after vetting by the Caring Company Steering Committee in mid February.

As for the Outstanding Partnership Project Award, 56 entries have been received this year.  The final short-listed projects will be invited to give a presentation at the final adjudication session in late January.

As the saying goes, “employees are the important asset”. In order to win a loyal and reliable working team to sustain the development of companies, employers must care for their employees. However, how to put in practice? Launched by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service, Issue 1 of CSR PULSE Magazine 09/10 series will be published on 12 January. The cover story is on how to care for the employees.

Caring Company Recognition Ceremony, the annual commemorative activity of the Scheme would be transformed with a new face in 2009/10. In aligning with the mission of the Scheme promoting and strengthening partnerships among the corporate and social service sectors, the activity namely the Caring Company NGO Partnership Day 2009/10 would be held on 25 March 2010, in Hall 5G of the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre.

Apart from award presentation to winners for the Outstanding Partnership Project Award and the Total Caring Award, an exhibition showcasing partnerships among caring companies and NGOs.
