The Hon Edward Yau, JP, Secretary for the Environment, HKSAR
Mr Edward Yau is appointed Secretary for the Environment on July 1, 2007.
His portfolio covers environmental protection, nature conservation, energy and sustainable development. He is responsible for formulating policies, promoting public awareness as well as encouraging community participation regarding his portfolio areas. He also oversees plans and programmes implemented by the Environmental Protection Department, the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department, the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department and the Drainage Services Department for his policy portfolio with a view to achieving and maintaining a healthy and pleasant environment for the Hong Kong people.
Before taking up the current position, Mr Yau has served in various bureaux and departments including Director of Information Services, Deputy Director-General of Trade (later renamed Deputy Director-General of Trade and Industry), Director-General of the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Washington, and Deputy Secretary for Education and Manpower. |

Ms Teresa Au, Head of Corporate Sustainability Asia Pacific Region, The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited
Ms Teresa Au possesses over 20 years of experience in financial service industry in Hong Kong and the Asia Pacific Region. She is now responsible for driving the overall direction and strategies of Corporate Sustainability (CS) in Hong Kong and the Asia Pacific Region, focusing on a wide spectrum of responsibilities including environmental footprint management, risk management, sustainable business development, etc. Prior to her current role, she has held a number of senior management positions in HSBC.
Teresa is currently the Chairperson of both the Hong Kong and Asia Pacific Regional Diversity Committees and the Wayfoong Sports Club, and a member of the Advisory Committee for the Hongkong Bank Foundation. She is the Co-Chairman of the Community Chest General Donations/Special Events Organising Committee. She is appointed by the Trade and Industry Council of the Hong Kong Government as a member of the Hong Kong Committee for Pacific Economic Cooperation. Recently, she has become a Patron and Executive Committee member for the Climate Change Business Forum. |

Dr Allan Zeman, GBS, JP, Chairman, Ocean Park Corporation
Dr Allan Zeman is the Chairman of Ocean Park and Lan Kwai Fong Holdings Ltd. Dr Zeman has lived in Hong Kong for over 38 years and is actively involved in the local community. Due to his outstanding contributions to the community, the HKSAR Chief Executive appointed Dr Zeman as a JP in 2001 and the Gold Bauhinia Star in 2004. In the same year, he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree of Laws (L.L.D.) from The University of Western Ontario, Canada.
Dr Zeman is also a member of the Tourism Strategy Commission, Economic Cooperation with the Mainland Commission on Strategic Development, Business Facilitation Advisory Committee, Board of the Urban Renewal Authority (U.R.A.), the HK Arts Festival, and Board Member of HKGCC and the Community Chest. |

Prof Ho Kin Chung, BBS, Dean, School of Science and Technology, The Open University of Hong Kong
Prof K C Ho gained the academic qualifications of B.Sc. in Biology (CUHK); M.Sc. in Environmental Resources (Salford University, UK); Ph.D (Dept. of Botany, HKU) and M.Ed (OUHK).
His public and professional services include: Chairman of Advisory Committee on the Quality of Water Supplies, former Member of the Advisory Council on the Environment, and the Town Planning Board, member of the Advisory Committee for Red Tides and President of Green Power.
Professor Ho has published more than 260 pieces of academic articles. He also visited the Antarctica twice and the Arctic six times. In 2004, Professor Ho was awarded the Bronze Bauhinia Star badge by the Chief Executive of HKSAR to honour his outstanding contributions to environmental protection. |

Mr Shek Kang Chuen,
President, Hong Kong Organic Farm
Mr Shek Kang Chuen is the Associate Publisher and Head of Research Department of Hong Kong Economic Times.
He has been running the Hong Kong Organic Farm, recognized by the Organic Crop Improvement Association in the US, from 2005 onwards. To preserve the environment and health of the public, the Farm, without using synthetic pesticides, chemical fertilizers and somatotrophin, adopts the Organic Production Standard and Certification System to grow crops. Besides, workers of the Farm are mostly from Tin Shui Wai area. Since its establishment, the Farm organized a series of environmental education programmes for over 10,000 Hong Kong students. Though participating in the activities including organic farm visit, organic food production workshop and farming experience, students would know more about environmental protection and organic farming. |

Mr Alan Leung,
Director, Oh My Farm Gourmet Greens Plus Ltd
Mr Alan Leung, the founder of Oh My Farm Gourmet Greens Plus, was an experienced newspaper editor and journalist who left an accomplished career in the media industry in 2006 to pioneer the sale of quality vegetable products with a modern management style.
With a revolutionized business model, Oh My Farm has immediately become the talk of the town when it opened its doors in 2006. It has received wide media coverage, including over 20 mass media channels from local newspapers, magazines, TV stations, radio stations and commercial websites. Many budding entrepreneurs have also been inspired to follow a similar business model which led to a substantial increase in the number of quality vegetable stores of its kind. Hopefully, with the hard work of Oh My Farm and these other quality stores, the local organic agricultural industry will have a bright future. |

Mr Wong Chee Wing,
Managing Director, Sailing Boat Catering Management Ltd.
Mr Wong Chee Wing is the Managing Director of the Sailing Boat Catering Management Ltd. Mr Wong has engaged in the catering industry for many years and has been committed to green production by taking the lead in implementing the policy of recycling.
With Mr Wong’s effort, in year 2001, his catering company was awarded the BEC Certificate of Merit in Environmental Performance under the Hong Kong Awards for Industries. Mr Wong also received the environmental management system certification given by the Business Environment Council and the Hong Kong Productivity Council for Project Acorn Hong Kong of ISO 14001. More than that, the company was also awarded 2005 HSBC Living Business Awards’ Emerald Award (the second runner-up). |

Mr Vincent Wong,
Director of Strategic Planning, Commercial Radio
Mr Vincent Wong holds a MBA degree from the Cambridge University and LLB from the University of London.
Being well-equipped with trainings in critical thinking and creativity, Mr Wong, right after gradation, initially joined Ogilvy & Mather Advertising to develop his talent in creativity. After that, he joined Hong Kong SAR Government as an Administrative Officer. He was in charge of city planning, reclamation project and social welfare areas. This even sharpened his skills in critical thinking and the effective ways to compromise.
Mr Wong now hosts several radio programmes specializing in current affairs. |

Ms Christine Fang, Chief Executive, Hong Kong Council of Social Service
Ms Christine Fang is the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Council of Social Service. Prior to joining the Council, she was the Secretary General of Hong Kong Red Cross accumulating rich experience in both local and international welfare sectors. Ms Fang actively commits herself to the development and promotion of social welfare, and is invited to participate in various government committees including Executive Committee of the Commission on Strategic Development, Manpower Development Committee, Sustainable Development Council and Digital 21 Strategy Advisory Committee. Ms Fang also helps in the work of other NGOs, including Hong Kong Press Council, Social Work Advisory Committee of the Hong Kong Baptist University, Advisory Committee of Department of Social Work of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Centre for Civil Society and Governance of University of Hong Kong as well as the Hon. Advisor of China Association of Social Workers.
Ms Fang holds a Bachelor of Social Science Honours degree from the University of Hong Kong and a Master degree in Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago, USA. |
